A SHORT DEATH
In this dark and atmospheric 3D Platformer, you control a humble cat in the realm after death. Meet strange and ominous characters throughout your journey as you jump, glide, run, and hop to the top of the mysterious tower that calls to you.
Platform your way to the top of the mysterious tower! You have an assortment of jumps at your disposal to traverse your way up, including a double jump, backflip, and dash jump. As you climb the tower, you will gain the power to transform into other animals with their own unique movements to utilize for moving quicker and farther.
Pick up collectibles along the way! Throughout your adventure, you will spy various tokens that will be beneficial to you. They will allow you to buy fun hats, skip difficult sections, and more.
What will you find in "A Short Death?"

- Optional checkpoints so falling isn't so bad!
- Atmospheric, but no jump scares. Death is scary enough as is!

Hello I played this game on steam but I can't figure out how to get the sharpshooter achievement, If someone could help me out that would be wonderful <3
Here's as much hint as I'll give: did you know you can change your camera view to first-person with the Tab key or by pushing the controller's right analog stick? Try running around with the Thorny Devil in search of some targets.
Some fun ideas going on in this game!
i've been playing the demo & it's really fun so far!! i like the graphics & the skateboard is a fun little thing :-) unfortunately i can't get far in the demo because crouch seems to be linked to ctrl instead of c, which means trying to move forward while crouching (ctrl+w) closes the tab as it's a default browser shortcut for at least firefox and chrome :( really good game tho!

Fixed! C is a toggle and ctrl is a hold for crouch.
Honestly, I've been playing the demo and that first dash jump is pretty hard. Is it possible? It seems like I'm just out of reach for it. Or is it fixed in the full game?
The dash-jump has a short window, it's hard to do at first for sure. If you see smoke above your head, that means you tried to jump too late.
If you're having trouble with the first dash jump spot, you can exploit the coyote time to make it a little easier. Coyote time allows you to jump just a tad late in the air.
